Why isn't this an updated Wavebird? WTF

I have worked for one of the large show companies. Know how they design shoes? They come up with a cool looking design that looks functional, send it to focus groups and ask people what they think it's for. Then they develop some marketing and sell it to that segment. There's no science behind shoes.

Honestly, the lack of a desktop app to manage all social media feeds in one place (which used to be easy with a plethora of apps before the networks became assholes) has probably cut my engagement with Twitter by 80% and Facebook by 50%.
