It’s just primal primate tribalism as a whole. It’s not even religion. The Dems could peddle out a Christian candidate and it wouldn’t make a difference. You see, if it was the democratic candidate who has a past of sexually harassing little girls, it would be a referendum on the entire democratic/liberal “tribe.” It

The idea of Chris Paul is like a damned inception. Place the idea of Chris Paul in someone’s mind and slowly it festers and grows until, at some point, the idea of Chris Paul is too much to ignore. So then you get the real Chris Paul and the real Chris Paul, while a really good basketball player, isn’t this

Word.

Yeah, in southern Colorado there is a history of Italian and Mexican settlers...uh...intermingling. So the cross-pollination of foodstuffs is really organic and evolved from necessity, like any good food. It’s not stuff that some TV personality who ran out of ideas had to throw together to keep their shitty TV show

Word.

Hype spreads outward. Nothing but hardcore Marvel fans were clamoring for Thor or Captain America. Look how that turned out.

Eh. People take these things way too seriously. Marvel movies are all pretty competently made movies, but people act like every single one is “great.” None of those movies are “great.” The best ones are “pretty good.” But what Marvel has done really well is meet people’s expectations. They gave audiences recognizable

Because Trump’s “base” would literally split the party in two. And they would never again have any sort of real power in this country as the two right wing parties would split the idiot vote. There’s no way the 30-percent of the population who supports Trump would be ok with his removal. Never. He represents all that

Please. Trump doesn’t know what a legacy is. He doesn’t even care to be “remembered” at all because I don’t even think he really knows that he can, you know, just die.

Right. I already acknowledged that it was bad phrasing.

Statute of limitations.

Inarguably he won as a backup to a QB who had thrown 9 tds to 17 ints. So this is one case where it’s justifiable to place a nice, big, blinding asterisk next to that fact.

Well, I stand corrected when it comes to them saying, “Yes.” That was a bad blunder on my part. Bad wording.

As someone who would be considered a “liberal” by most people, I think there’s a lot of truth to this. This is why it’s ok for people to punch Nazis, supposedly. Also, like, if somebody does something wrong and seems to genuinely have some remorse about it, we should probably be willing to give them a second chance.

Hence why I put permission in “”. Yes, you and I and everyone with a brain understands that it wasn’t real permission. I’m talking about in the court of law. Legally I’m not sure he committed a crime. Legally I’m not sure how “permission” or “consent” in a case like this would be defined.

He abused his power. There’s no doubt about that. What he did probably should be a crime. I don’t know if it technically is, though. If he physically forced someone to watch him masturbate or threatened their job, then it’s a crime. My understanding is he asked the women if they would watch him and they said yes.

Yeah, it’s weird. I think this is the “witch hunt” aspect of these things coming to light. CK should do his pennance and deal with his (for lack of a better term) “karma.” But, I mean, I feel like it gets a little gross when you expect friends or associates to have outed the behavior for some reason.

Sex offenders have the lowest rate of recidivism of any group of offenders in this country, and it isn’t even close. I think it’s something like 13-17 percent recidivism rate when most other crimes are, like, somewhere between 50-70 percent.

As a tea drinker and occasional alcoholic, I concur with all of this.
