Yeah you can warp the brake rotors if you over torque. Personally I've never used a torque wrench on them tho, just hand tight and a nip up.

Probably doesn’t count because most of the engine isn’t actually IN the car :P

ZZ's are still pricey and not a super common swap. Personally, I'd go a 3SGE BEAMS NA. Bigger capacity, more torque, less hassles than faffing around with a turbo and all the issues they can bring (fires mainly and cooling issues). A 20v is a good budget swap but not a massive step up.

Paul Wood put an Audi V8 in an AW11 MR2 Mk1. Pretty sure just about everything has been swapped into them at one stage or another.
