I could see an argument. It’s excellent.

I audibly (and appreciatively) guffawed at #1. It’s a great movie. This was a good list.
Not mutually exclusive.
DeNiro is definitely Irish.
Cheney is a sociopath and believes that, generally, people will and should think highly of him.
Hey, I liked North Country a lot...
Eh, I think the culture in general has grown less accepting of the, ahem, controversy around Woody Allen in the past five years. The actors are following the general population trend.
“No actor has any actual integrity.”
Big swing there.
If anyone saw the Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin, this isn’t a surprise. Carolla ranted and didn’t prepare any real jokes. It was uncomfortable. NBA star Blake Griffin was significantly better, if that gives any indication.
It explains why Cliff is on the outs in Hollywood.
Also, Lee’s monologue is a lot about how he respects boxers like Ali (referred to “Cassius Clay”). It isn’t all self-aggrandizing.
Seems like the manipulative, dishonest jerk Phillipe played in Altman’s “Gosford Park” was really close to his real personality.
Star Wars is fabulously weird.
Interesting angle.
Are you here just to distract from actual discussion?
I love the Nolan critics who say he explains too much, but then miss giant details of the plot. Complaining about the Hong Kong scene in TDK is another strain of this buffoonery.
You wrote a “why isn’t this movie a different movie” review in the comments section? LOL you’re funnier than I thought.
A movie modified historical characterization to make a more interesting story?! Oh God! To the gallows!
Such an AV Club comment.
