Spielberg has also stated that this particular horror film is one of his favorite movies full-stop (which makes sense when you look at the themes he has always tackled in his films and how it relates to that particular title). I’m sure it was a blast for him to recreate those cinematic spaces.

Ready Player One actually has a multi-ethnic cast.

Seems like you brought your own interpretation to the text. You wrote lots of words, but it you failed to actually made an argument.

That’s some good false equivalence.

Nice begging the question. You’ll need to accept that this vandal only hurt their own cause.

Wow what a pathetic attempt at a strawman.

Yeah that’s me too.

I’m loving all this Spielberg-focused content on the AV Club this week.

Not really. All the money that made the statue came from voluntary citizens.

All the garbage opinions in this comment section are making me nostalgic for the AV Club of old!

Alfred Molina as the psychotic, but increasingly awestruck, assassin is also a highlight

Anyone else agree that’s an underrated comedy gem?

Agree. That one comment totally missed me.

I’m actually sure PTA has watched a Boll film or two as a lark.

I think it’s funny that Uwe looks more professional in his pic than PTA does. If someone didn’t know who they were (and they didn’t notice the Bloodrayne envelope in Boll’s hand), they might suspect Anderson to be the crazy crank in this story.
