Props to Mara.

Is Oliver Stone “especially famous” at this point?

Stone thinks he’s still a cultural provacateur, and is so out of touch he thinks these comments make him look like a wizened contrarian of some type.

Jeez you’re really dumb.

Lol you’re a Milo defender.

Yep. Matt Damon loves sexual predators. Run with that argument, you don’t seem unhinged at all.

If you weren’t going to be making serious comments, I wish you’d let us know ahead of time.

Thanks for admitting you don’t know what you’re talking about with the “bs” section.

Are we absolutely sure Zhang didn’t have any input into who was cast as his leading man? He’s a major director, I find it hard to believe he was allowed zero say in the matter.

Think harder, Homer.

Yes. In the context of all the stories about gender, diversity and intersectional issues we deal with every single day - and the growing political threat we see at all times - Damon’s gaffe from a year ago that he apologized for almost immediately is quite minor.

“I don’t know.” Then you shouldn’t be making innuendos so carelessly.

It’s not true. Trumpcare would’ve killed Bone’s mother.

Health care is expensive for most people in this country. I don’t know if “most people” can’t afford “basic” procedures, but there is clearly difficulty. Typing those generalities doesn’t give your argument moral weight, especially seeing as the GOP’s health care plan would have made both those problems much worse.

Why would a minor controversy - which was resolved over a year ago - be mentioned in other stories about Damon? That’s not really how entertainment journalism (or any journalism) works. Only if a story came out that involved Damon denouncing diversity in some way would it merit discussion.

Your connection to this woman who made a false claim of sexual harassment would always be considered anecdotal when you’re using it to construct an argument about this problem on a macro level. That is because it is the definition of anecdotal evidence.

Well, it’s a good thing that Matt Damon didn’t need a personal element to know it was wrong. His statement clearly says so.

Bill Clinton’s transgressions were selfish and amoral, but they were nonetheless consensual. Let’s not throw him into the sexual assault hall of shame, as it makes a false equivalency and undermines the legitimacy of those other guys’ awful crimes.

Wow, you really are wrong about everything.

So he turned his remorse into an episode of his television show, which stars himself? Yep, no problems there.
