This point of view screams to me that you don’t have a very good relationship with your parents, or that they live in a small home.

So, people should lose their job for a legal issue or for just being accused of a crime?
I thinking hauling a boat totally quals.
I frikken love this answer. If you had pulled some “I need room for the kids” or “because of safety” I would have lost all respect.
Either way, you are clearly one of those progressives who spend their lives in deep envy of anybody else who has a net worth higher than you, and who doesn’t have even a basic grasp of economics and elasticity.
$1000 on a trip at 24 is a lot of money. However, $1000 at 24 into an account that returns ~7%/year on average for 20 years will be worth $4000 at age 44.
I disagree with you about the 401K. Time is your friend on that one, and you can’t catch up to where you would be.
That will grow them up real quick, won’t it? I bought shitty house and paid too much my first time. My second time I was much better at the game.
Judge people to be less of a man as me, of course !
Took me a while to learn the length of this truck and how to use the side mirrors properly. Banged up plates, dented bumper, missing license plate light lense....
Ok. fair enough. But my logic is not retarded, it just is not applicable to every single situation. I would still say a 5th wheel or gooseneck is still pretty rare in urban areas.
Oh, you can own what you want. I am just saying what the truck looks like tells me a lot about the owner. If you use a truck, then it is a tool. If you just want a truck, then it is a toy. As someone who has a work truck, I am not sure what the draw is to have a truck as a daily driver. They just aren’t that great a…
What?? I thought everyone who got the big engine and 4x4 was because the legitimately needed the extra capability. Next you will be telling me that most people with dualies never haul or tow at that capacity. BTW- I am the guy that always first looks at the hitch on a truck to tell what kind of owner they are. Shiney…
Things have certainly come a long way since I bought my F150 back in 1996. I sprung for the 5,o liter engine for extra towing. That motor is nothing compared to what you can get today. There have been more change in engine technology in the last 20 years than from 1976 to 1996 for sure.
Your post is like a full-body massage to Kenny G music compared to what a real Kinja troll would do to this guy.
Meh, I think he is just a kid. It is really to bad that he sees moving back in with his parents as a great way to save money. It is just mooching off of those closest to you. I would rather live in a box than take my parents hard-earned money as an adult. They worked for it, I want to see them enjoy it.
Yes, because he steals from the people closest to him and has not let himself grow to full potential. A person making $80k and still taking from his parents may only be contributing software.
Perhaps. But then, if your resume is even “in the pile” to begin with, you’re doing it wrong. This was the point I wanted to make to my younger self. Worry about your network and mentor. If you have those, you avoid the pile all together.
The problem with this is that it leads to lifestyle inflation. You won’t know when to stop “living a little”
WTF is your problem with me, you abusive douchebag? I never mentioned anything about myself, my cultural background or my situation yet you feel the need to make shit up about someone you don’t even know?
