Apples and Oranges. We already know that people die in car crashes, so this information does not impact stock price. We did not know the autopilot technology was so flawed in the Tesla. This is new information and, thus, could impact stock price.

That’s right. If you take matters into your own hands, you are responsible for the results.

Fair point. Driving fast was an actual comment. It did seem very fast for the quality of the road. The other was snark.

He is a capitalist. There is no incentive to not act to increase profit.

It certainly isn’t good racing technique. It is like the guys in the parking lot doing burnouts. It gets old quick..

Maybe if you guys didn’t drive so F’ing slow, we BMW drivers wouldn’t be passing all the time.

Totally, but that Yaris was hauling ass for a narrow two lane with no shoulder and blindspots.

Would you use the Nick and Nora glasses for Margaritas?

Very good point. You have to use purchasing power, not just adjustment for inflation. In other words, inflate the wages with the price of the care.

Hey, my C3 moves pretty well with that 7 liters of motivation. Turning a corner is another thing...

There is nothing to determine. He did, in fact, withhold the information. Now we have to decide if there were damages. I think he absolutely should have disclosed this risk. It is the fact he got lucky and it looks like no one really got hurt that he is not calling his lawyers.

Someone withholding material risk that can impact stock price right before selling shares is a little more than click bait. It’s very serious fraud. People go to prison for that stuff.

It’s sterile and I like the taste.

Perhaps. But this is not in really great shape. A lot of cars in near Concours condition are worth a lot of money. Check out the Craigslist ad. There are a lot more problems then this article points out. It will take $10k at least to get this into dependable driving shape. Now you are 18k in.

You realize at $8k how much more you have to put into it to get to this?

15k?? Go get it and tell us how the flip goes.

I can rebuild the entire engine. Doesn’t mean this Jeep is worth nearly $9k.

Yep. It is rare, but not desirable. It is like claiming my 1984 Chrysler K Car is rare due to the color combinations. It could be a nice ride, but for that price it would need to be in much better shape with an engine swap or rebuild.
