Definitely #1. Jacks and jackstands are notoriously narrow and will tip easy if the car is allowed to roll. In park, there still is usually 10 -15 degrees of wheel rotation available before lock. You do not want the car to roll when you are under it cranking on those pin bolts trying to get them to free.

Valid points. I doubt the sensors are at the point a machine can be as aware as a human pilot. That said, this is the future. In just a few decades drones will fight the air war for us.
