Yeah, it’s completely insane to suggest that “every man” has been in a bar fight.

Ive never been in a bar/drunken fight or come close. My secret is that when I did drink in public, I learned to not drink with assholes.
I was a bouncer for a year in college, and had to break up maybe 2 fights the entire time? Anyone who asserts they don’t know a single person who wasn’t in a bar fight hangs out with a lot of assholes.
Uhm,No. You’re doing it right. Getting into a fight is already stupid but getting into a fight in a place full of all sorts of glass is insane.
Trump probably loves it. Takes me back to his pre-election comments about him being able to shoot someone in the street and still be supported. He likely thinks this is fantastic - that his nominee is a rapist and will be easily approved anyway. What can’t Trump do!?
Yeah, but some Republican law firm will hire him. Mediocre white men always fail up.
He went full squirrel. Never go full squirrel.
His demeanor during the hearing has enraged people even more. But either way, he’s accused by multiple women of sexual assault and sexual misconduct. There is lots of evidence that at the very least, he drank a lot in high school and college and was belligerent and viewed women as sex objects. But even if all that was…
The election is five weeks away. The political landscape could look very different after that--these yahoos have really relied on their control of the House and Senate to keep investigations from happening, and they’ve been so blatant and sloppy about their corruption that they’ve really got a house of cards ready to…
“At some point I think we have to admit we have lost the nation to the worst people, and that merely saying “Hey, that’s not fair,” just isn’t going to cut it. Not that I have a viable solution”
He clearly feels he’s “owed” the seat, that his entire life has led up to this point, and that the rest of the country is trying to thwart God’s plan. Kavanaugh is the embodiment of entitlement.
Except in a significant way it is not his past indiscretions that are hindering him, it is his present responses to them.
Being a raging sociopath seems to be the only requirement to get into the current administration. No surprise they’re backing him up.
It makes me shiver thinking about when his nomination was first announced. He presented himself in such a meek, humbled manner. Watching his demeanor slowly unravel reminds me that the worst people in the world are sometimes those who society wants us to believe are the fittest. Imagine if none of this came to light.…
My question to my husband last night was, “If Kavanaugh could see into the future, do you think he would have not allowed himself to be nominated?” And he responded “No way, I know guys like him and they can’t imagine a world where past indiscretions would hinder future opportunities.” Made me realize how true that…
He knows he will get confirmed if he doesn’t withdraw. He doesn’t care what this does to his family, his friends, his victims or the country. His ambition is not bound by the tiniest bit of decency.
Anyone with a smidgen less entitlement would have withdrawn their name by now. This guys a fucking sociopath. A raging drunk sociopath.
Not sure about your dad’s cousin’s orientation, but I know *gay* people that defended Trump prior to the election as an ally of gay rights. In the end their fear/racism won out over any sort of objective position on the information in front of them.
My Dad’s cousin still maintains that Trump is an ally to gay people because he held that rainbow flag (upside down) once.
Yep, pretty sad when they have to tone it down to make it believable.
