Yeah I think my advantage is that I actually lived through the very things that push parents to migrate with their children. I KNOW what they are going through. I hope that hearing it from the source at least plants the seed of doubt.

I agree! I am preparing for the whataboutism. They are masters at it but I am also like an aligator when I argue, once I grab onto a topic I do not let go.

I was in a very similar situation while working at a safety net hospital (so my idiotic boss’ decisions affected the health of the poorest of the poor). Your baby will be fine! non extreme stress is ok in pregnancy...or so my obgyn said. Maybe she was trying to make me feel better but that’s what she said :)
