Are you talking about me in particular or some mythical “we” with monolithic properties?

Thanks for the info on The Intercept - it’s not an outlet I am very familiar with and I certainly don’t know their reporters by name. I’ll occasionally skim a story from there and sometimes there will be what seems like good information but I take every word with a grain of salt because it also smells of idealogues

I don’t understand why Ellison = Sanders. *Lots* of prominent Dems threw their support behind Ellison.

All good points!

Also, who is “you guys”? Voters? Democrats? Jezebel readers?

It could be nothing. Or it could be yet more of the inside horse trading that happens as business as usual in the political world. Both seem equally possible at this point and I don’t really have a dog in the fight other than I really hope there wasn’t any party bullshit that will lead to more fracture.

Well stated. An Ellison win would have been pragmatism defined.

Yes, but when Ellison is also being attacked by one of the biggest DNC donors, it raises questions...

It could very well be, but it also wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

From what I’m reading, he was approached and was asked to run. If this is incorrect, then I have no problem with the win.

At face value, they were both great candidates and I didn’t see why it was so bad to be spoiled for choice.

They were both great candidates. However, it seems highly questionable why the party money men decided to field Perez a month after Ellison announced.

I’ve been reading more about them both because I was confused as to why there would be such division over two good progressive candidates.

States’ Rights! Except for shit we don’t like!

Even better, I ran into him again a week or so later. Again, I was walking on 125th Ave in Harlem to my internship and he came out of nowhere and was in my face yelling, “I thought I told you to get the fuck out of Harlem!!”

From an E&E News (subscription required) article about a CPAC panel this morning focused on environmental issues (emphasis mine):

Oh no! I hope you’re hanging in there okay :-)

She was the first-ever American actress to win the prestigious Cesar award. I believe it was for the Clouds of Sils Maria - I haven’t seen it but it got rave reviews. She was also pretty fucking great as Joan Jett in the Runaways.

Fishtar!

DO NOT TAUNT HAPPY FUN BALL!
