Try keto - it is my lifestyle, not a diet. I eat tons of veggies, especially kale, collards, etc. as well as a great variety of meat, nuts, and some cheese. What don’t I eat - sugar, neither in purer forms nor as most carbohydrates (fruits, grains, etc.).

Did you even read the article, or any other recent research? Most of it is saying that the calorie in-calorie out method of losing weight just does not work. A calorie is not a calorie in a great many instances - the same food can spike one person’s blood sugar, leading to more fat storage, much more than another’s.
