I just got off the phone with a VW rep. She said that there is no way to clear your vehicle based on which year it is. I have a 2015, I gave her my VIN and she said that they cannot verify I’m clear, that the results will be VIN-specific. FWIW.

I hope that you are not implying that those of us who are not automotive aftermarket engineers are all losers and lazy people. What, exactly, are we supposed to do other than join a class action?

I bought my 2015 TDI in December after driving my first VW for 10 years. First new car I ever bought. There are 13K miles on it. I use diesel HPR in my car, which has much lower emissions than dino diesel and is recycled to boot. But this will completely be left out of the discussion because HPR is still a fringe
