Get your Tiguans squared away, all of you.
What happened to VW's modular design principles we heard about years and years ago?
All I can think of when I see a driver in one of these (or dodge avenger), is: "Wow, they didn't even cross shop a single other vehicle".

Wow. Worst car I've ever driven was a 09 Chevy Malibu I was given as a rental car while my FR-S was on repair. (Someone rear ended me).
You'd think that, but you'd be wrong.
Japanese baseball is stricter than American baseball. In high school, all the players must shave their heads, so they keep cool in the summer, but also so they belong to a team—a cohesive unit. In professional baseball, you really don't see Japanese players blowing bubble gum or spitting everywhere like Major League…
Doesn't Lewis Hamilton live there?
What was that ultra waterproof coating from nissan a while back? Could they apply that to the whole car to reduce the mud from sticking? That seems like it would pay huge dividends if they could keep mud off the cars.
I understand your pain. My dad sold our 74' 911 Targa in 2004 for 7,000$. I STILL want to track it down and buy it back, but holy shit I can't save money fast enough.

All I can think of is how expensive those motors are going to be when they finally go out... haha
You have to appreciate the collection of data though.
I think it's cool that VW bought Ducati and I'm a big fan of what they've done with some of their brands, but.... ughhhhhhh. We need more than three big automakers. We need many. We need the ideas that come with them. The style. The brand. The platforms.
Sounds like a business start-up in the making ;)
The Tesla Model 3 isn't quite as inspiring as the Model E – for obvious reasons – but that's what Elon is naming Tesla's entry-level sedan. Oh, and Tesla Roadster owners are getting a battery upgrade, too.
So what is the biggest reason for the price premiums over the Mk III's? I thought the MkIII's were an attractive option for less than half the price.
Mine was awful for reliability, but I put up with it because I loved the car!
