One good thing is that with the new change you can de-authorize any old PS3s on your account. I have a 60GB die and could not de-auth it before trading it in. The new update let's you once per 60 days de-authorize units on the new website.

I do too...If you add up all the games and DLC I have gotten for my subscription to PS+ it makes it far more appealing than my expired sub to XBLive where I was still inundated with banners and adds. This made me tear up just thinking about my sons 2nd Christmas ever coming up in 2 days...and I got him a Millenium Falcon (a toy I always wanted but never got as a kid) and a few figures to go with it. We may not be rich, but I never want him to go without like I did.

Looks like the closest to me is a combination of Politician and Giver, but I would agree I see a lot of these stereotypes in gaming everyday.
