Aside from being able to play directly from a usb stick in the back of the Roku, I can select my networked hard drive and surf through folders of either music or video content. It’s been a few months since I’ve moved and have yet to hook it all back up. But it’ll do it 😁

Well, my Roku 2(older one) streams from my networked hard drive. Without Plex.

This blows the doors off of Apple TV for me since Roku will have a more functional app than the one iOS allowed. AND 4K? Nuts, yes?

Buyer beware. Just upgraded my data plan from 10GB to 15GB at no addl cost or contract and it deleted my VM’s. Both mine and my wife. Got an “oops” text from them the next day. May not be completely relative here. but just some fyi.
