Very much this. Hypocrisy tends to spoil the comics and the shows for me. Kara's tirade about Mon-El being a liar, particularly the line "I deserve better than being lied to…" is ruining Kara for me.

I believe it's the Tribune. They mention it when Cat was going to have to fire many of them prior to branding Supergirl. Branding Supergirl was integral to them keeping their jobs.
