It says "in soft viscose" right there... So kind of natural, kind of not

Also - if your toilet tank is leaking into the bowl, it’ll make flush sounds at random times when the water has finally all leaked out. Replace the flapper or maybe the entire valve. It’s not ghosts; just a bad seal.

I don’t get it. Quietly Simmering didn’t say “She’s not allowed to publish books if she doesn’t believe in what I believe!” They implied “I don’t want to give money to that person because of their shite opinion, so I won’t buy it.” What part of that is fascism? Who’s calling on the government to shut JK Rowling down?

and a sandworm as a pet!

You realize you’re undermining your own argument by being an insufferable ass, right? You’re not convincing anybody to change their minds by talking about “educating internet randos” or “filling your quota of dumdums.”

Shows you care more about being superior on the internet than you do about actually changing things

This is literally not a right you have ever had. You can’t buy whatever you need from any store you want. If a grocery store has tomatoes it’s because a farmer decided to sell his shit there. He’s not required to sell his shit anywhere else. You can’t buy Reeboks at the Nike store. And if devs don’t want to sell

My take: firing a CEO is not always a penalty. A board often picks a CEO because their specially fits the company's situation. If you've got a lot of cash on hand and you're looking to do a lot of M&A, pick a CEO who is great at acquisitions and merging cultures. But if COVID happens, you suddenly don't need the M&A

There’s one in Somerset Mall in southeast Michigan if you're near the Detroit area. There's probably be more on the way now that Tesla won the lawsuit to get a loophole in the dealership law.

They... did do their jobs, and then the bosses changed the job, so they quit. That’s ok, right? It’s ok for the job to change, and it’s ok for them to quit. There’s nothing wrong with that? Why would you be so snotty about it?

ROFL yep my bad, DFW in above’s comment got lodged in my brain. good catch

100% - and for the curious, the better terminal is the McNamara (basically the Delta terminal), and the sucky terminal is the North Terminal (every other airline).

You seem great.

It’s hard to tell but they’re actually button downs - there are TINY dots on the collar in the drawing, and if you go to the website, almost all the shirts showcased are button downs

and, technically the gatekeepers would say that a button-down shirt (meaning the collar is fastened by buttons) should not be worn with ties anyhow

The market of people in good connection zones is huge. Just because your service won’t fit in every market doesn’t mean they’re not going to make money. If they’re able to sell to people with good internet, that’s still going to be successful.

YES! And then you cuss yourself out, because you’re trying to use your ammo sparingly. SO well designed.

You can’t SELL medical advice without a license, or pretend to be a medical authority when you’re not. But the government can’t stop you from expressing your stupid opinions (which is probably a good thing, just not in this particular case)
