I thought I was making a hyperbolic, if somewhat lame, joke based on HockeyMike's "expectations of Americans" remark. I tried to take it to it stereotypical extreme.
If I offended anyone, I apologize. Didn't have the intention to insult anyone.

America has much spicier food than I thought then, wow. Still, nice job.
The original topic was "spicy Japanese curry" and since most curry places aren't big and well-known, I named the only famous one I know that has a conform system for spiciness levels as well.
Every other curry place has one, maybe 2 or 3 different kinds of ru they use for all the curries. Seeing as you're trying to be…
Cool to hear you're dating! Good luck!
Adventure Time.
They look exactly like the animated series and Ryan North is a funny guy that captures the spirit welll while still being different from the show.
Yeah, you can't call either of those games relaxing. Thumper, in the moment, is mesmerizing and "relaxing" in that you disappear into the game but whenever I finish it, I can feel my spirit leaving my body.
I'm at the same point as you btw, starting Level 4.
The Witness is a truly memorable experience to play through. It consumed me for a couple of weeks after which I took a break. I still have puzzles left to solve but I find it hard to get back into after a few months, the mental elasticity needed for the puzzles has disappeared, I'm afraid.
Impressive. And three portions? That does make it sound like you're the tennis shoes, white socks, short-wearing, baseball-capped, pot-bellied American tourist I keep seeing all over the world.
Still, respect for going up to 10. I don't know how that spiciness compares to American spicy food though.
Cool, that's helpful info. I think I'll get it on PS4 then, I enjoy controllers more anyway and have noticed that I never really want to sit down behind my laptop for a game anyway except when travelling for work.
I finished 2 bosses and then couldn't be bothered anymore as running through levels to collect runes felt very rote and slow. I quit once I realized I was actually bored. Not even those beautiful visuals could save that game for me.
The Banner Saga looks and sounds amazing. Congratulations on finishing it!
I have the first one on Steam but have been thinking about getting the bundle on PS4 (for trophies as well, I know, I know). Does the game lend itself to one or the other? M/K or controller?
I agree with the people above that situate their best food in relation to a memory or place or time. For me, it's the same.
If you're a curry fan and ever go to Kanazawa, find yourself Taaban Curry. It's blacker, thicker and topped with fried sausage, menchi katsu and tonkatsu. Ate it four days in a row, still want it.
Sundered's enemy mobs sounds like that level in Jotun with all the dwarfs. It wasn't difficult defeating them there but there's also no rhyme or reason to it. Seems the problems I had with Jotun are the same in Sundered: beautiful presentation, lackluster execution.
I've seen that movie, I think, … or the first one maybe. I remember Billy The Kid and Doc and that's about it really.
Good thought on the Mario-thing. It would need to be earned somehow if you want to maintain a balanced game. Now I want to play Factions again but those "X% people will die if you don't achieve this…
You lost me with the Young Guns reference but everything else actually sounds like a solid idea. Even something as simple as having a command where you make it know to teammates that you don't want to be revived, could indicate it's too dangerous and provides tactical insight for the rest. Waiting out your slow death…
"though you CAN also end up in a wacky "I'll save you X! AHHHHH I got hit too! I'll save you guys BOTH! AHHHH we're all shot now!" scenario. "
Idem on the PS4-remark. This looks like a lot of fun and the kind of organic storytelling (or emergent gameplay is it?) that I am starting to become a big fan of.
Thanks for commenting.
I hope you feel better soon too. No shame in asking help. I've called help lines as well in the past and found some comfort and support in them.
Not doing great, feeling tired all the time and my work quality and enjoyment has taken a dive. Don't know if it's a temporary overwork/burn-out thing or something more.
