His fallout with Batman is no great mystery. He was signed up post-Argo acclaim. Warner Brothers got a prominent director/star that they’d already been nurturing. Affleck got a cushy superhero gig with the promise he could also put his creative stamp on a franchise.

Salutations~!

Gascoigne was, for me, the hardest goddamn boss in that game. I must have tried thirty times before I finally beat him. My latest trips through the game I’ve just rang the beckoning bell to get past him as painlessly as possible. Nothing else gave me as much trouble as him - I even one-shot several later bosses.

Bloodborne is objectively great but I also don’t vibe well with the aesthetics.

For Father Gascoigne, his third phase can get easier if you thoroughly explore Central Yharnam and exhaust dialogue with a particular NPC. I don’t know how much you want me to spoil. If you don’t want to use that in-game trick, oil pots and molotovs can work wonders if you time them right; I would also say that you

my main annoyance is that there’s a slight delay in the parry”

I may be misremembering, but is anyone else thrown off by how rarely Pan is shifting form? Am I wrong in thinking that the show is already giving away what his final form will be by showing him so often as a pine marten, rather than really exploring how his shape shifting at this age reveals Lyra’s emotional state

I’m leaning towards Trieu, not Manhattan, being Veidt’s jailer. Whether that makes her a villain or not is still up in the air depending on what else is going on this season. While my first instinct was that Bian was a Trieu clone I now wonder if she might be a clone of Trieu’s mother. Fits with the parents and

Agreed on the merits of authenticity. That’s how Mass Effect 2 ended up much lower on my list than I would have initially suspected. I realized more and more over the decade, especially following the magnificent gems of 2017, that ME2 just didn’t resonate as much as it did way back in 2010.

Salutations~!

Between Hollow Knight, Breath of the Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn and Night in the Woods, 2017 sparked a massive amount of gaming joy in me.

I was more shocked there wasn’t at least a light nod to PUBG. That game showed there was an audience for the battle royale genre, but couldn’t figure out how to capitalize on its success quickly and was often bug riddled (which granted did add a little to its charm).

I was want to remind everyone that God of War lore has now made Kratos the grandfather to an eight-legged horse and a giant snake.

i’m not sure that makes it better- just because he is letting you know that its intentional doesn’t make it less grating- if i blasted an air horn at you everytime you tried to talk to me and then said ‘don’t worry, i’m doing this to protest that restaurants and bars are too noisy to have a reasonable conversation’

Giant Bomb described at as a walking simulator, but like if Kojima heard the term “Walking Simulator” and took it literally and made in-depth mechanics for movement, weight, balance, terrain, like the way a “Flight Simulator” is super detailed and mechanics heavy, as opposed to when people say walking simulator to

Been going pretty heavily on DC Universe Online lately, they’ve got some Halloween content that’s pretty fun. Now all of my alts are at 30 or above.

I’m currently downloading The Outer Worlds via Microsot Game Pass for only a dollar a month.

Thanks! It’s always seemed like a great community here. I’m glad I finally had something I needed to say badly enough that it overcame my normally crippling anxiety.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Last week, I learned about the existence of a strange little RPG called Disco Elysium, fifteen years in the making, right in this very comment section. After a quick google and a few minutes of research, it immediately became my most anticipated game of the year. So, for the first

If you look carefully at around the 49:50/50:00 minute mark, when the Roys are shuffling the halls toward their meeting with Nan, Kendall is at the back of their line as they pass a maid coming down the stairs, carrying a laundry basket, and looking suspiciously at Kendall... I think we’re meant to understand that she
