Now playing

This weekend I will probably be continuing to mess around (and slowly progress) in Heat Signature. I just got back into it after several months off, so the first few missions I took were ones I was sure I could handle, but I’m starting to get back to where I dare to take missions that are kind of scary. I finished off

What Have You Finished This Week?

...did you misread “Eesh” as “Eh”, and then just ignore the rest of the comment?

That’s...absolutely what I said. Which is why I advocated for simply flipping them off and telling them to go fuck themselves, if you have to do something about it. Saying “everyone has their own way of getting through the day” doesn’t mean “this shit’s okay.” I means “everyone’s got their own way, but this way is

Eesh. I remember the frustration I felt with entitled, shitty customers when I worked food service, but I never once felt the need or desire to interfere with their food—especially in a way that could make them ill.

Everybody’s got their own methods of making it through the day/sticking it to the man, but it occurs to

Yeah, the good thing is even if Apex’s player base drops off a cliff, it had such a wide initial reach that it will probably still have at least a few million players sticking around. And as the person here who recommended Battlefield to you a few years ago, almost immediately before I dropped it in favor of Titanfall

I just started GoW and the combo mechanics and upgrades are a less intuitive than previous iterations. But the clunky gameplay has left more breathing room for the story, which is intriguing for a character that I kind of hated by the end of GoW III.

The director Cory Balrog is insanely open for a dev and has given a ton of great commentary and interviews on the game. I’d recommend taking some time to YouTube they give great insight on the development process. In one (with NoClip’s Danny O’Dwyer I think) he talks about how they originally planned a lot more boss

Tbh Kingdom Hearts 1 is probably the high point in the series.  Nobody had any idea how convoluted it would get and both the Hikaru Utada song and the main theme are bangers.

I’m not sure that Apex Legends is going to cannibalize Anthem’s player base that much. The impression I get is that there really hasn’t been that much enthusiasm for Anthem in a while now. I get the impression the Destiny-esque “loot & shoot” genre has already kind of had it’s day among the wider gaming community

Wow, thanks for waiting (that 1 a.m. posting time is hard for me to hit!). Just put up my What Have You Finished post— I’d love to hear your thoughts on God of War!

Titanfall minus the wall-running and jump jets seemed like a real bummer, but I am getting close to interested seeing the ways people are using the slide and the grappling hook they kept (even if only one character has it). Just got a PSVR and a bunch of games a few weeks ago, though, so even a free game takes time

Salutations~!

I’ve been playing more Red Dead Redemption II . I just started chapter 3 and I’m doing some more exploration and hunting. I had a bit of a time adjusting to everything there is to do but I’m finally getting it, and just doing whatever I feel like at any given time.

Really, I’m just happy Respawn have a hit on their hands. Better that than they fold or get dissolved by EA and we don’t get anything from them ever again.

Nergigante has fallen! (Oh yeah I’m talking about Monster Hunter World) Turns out that fight isn’t too bad with a group, but I’m glad to be past him. I’ve taken shots at two of the three Elder Dragons you have to face for the next big hurdle, and so far they’re more interesting. In the meantime I’ve done a whole

I played a lot of Titanfall 2 and I’ll toss out some suggestions off the top of my head. I thiiiink there’s some newer stuff here (or at least stuff I don’t remember or has been slightly changed) so folks can feel free to chime in with their recommendations too.

Assault Rifles - The R201 (I think it’s the 301 here?) is

Probably doing event runs on Monster Hunter World.

the gem, skill tree stuff is annoying at first but once you start upgrading Kratos you start to unlock some moves that really make combat sing and can start stringing together some devastating combos that use thrown axes, shield bashes and all kinds of great moves. Buckle in, it’s a great game that deserved every
