Thanks! Yeah, it’s a shame because aside from the Baron’s characterization, the tone and intimate focus of Valiant Hearts is immaculately executed. And I agree with your previous review of it in these earlier threads—I’d love to see other historical periods get the Valiant Hearts interactive approach to conveying said

Back when I was a teenager, a forum I frequented had a section dedicated to setting up online Starcraft matches, and also to posting battle reports afterward. The text of the posts these pictures belonged to is long-forgotten, but the silly captions still make me laugh. A small selection of what “Young Demons” was up

Hey folks, it’s time for Merve’s Alternative Weekend Prompt (MAWP). Inspired by one of the discussions in this thread (and the fact that the Kinja-fied A.V. Club lets us embed images), what’s your favourite video game screenshot that you’ve taken? Feel free to share the story behind it as well.

I’ll second that. Contribution, when done with the level of respect you do, is always welcome and appropriate! My teenage nephews have Fortnite, but it was my brother (their father) that was just telling me about it last week, so it’s always nice to see it in action before I go play it! Thanks for posting!

Indeed it is gone from the main post. No need to be sorry; otherwise we’d be wondering if we were supposed to google “Fortnite Battle Royal Kill Compilation” and just take a guess at which video was yours.

I have joined the current console generation! I now own a Playstation 4!

The last time I wrote about Magic: the Gathering, I gushed over my favorite biomechanical horrors and how their comeback ended up endearing me to the world they were invading. I wrote so much about the history and context involved that the actual matchup here, of the native Mirrans vs the Phyrexian invaders, was cut

This week I started my new job, which means I’m a commuter now. Until I get a laptop sorted out it’s a bit boring but I’ll definitely spend train time on low-demand games in future. I hear you calling Switch.

I was incredibly disappointed to see there was no trace of this feature when I logged in promptly as I normally do. I was ready to figure out what I was going to play this weekend, and lay out my plans.

If Shameless Self-Promotion was bad in any way, I’d have been rode out of Gameological on a rail years ago. And it’s a nice video!

I really need to play more games; they’re generally helpful for my mood, and a combination of laziness, depression, and weird emergency work sessions has made it hard to work up much of any energy to do much. Generally, the one I’ve really played has been Fire Emblem Heroes, which is admittedly coming to a point of

Yeah, I took a chance on VR after no experience with it by buying a PSVR at launch, and I almost wish I could go back in time to my first time experiencing it all over again because it really is like magic.

Admittedly, I don’t think the overlap is huge. And even if it is, you might as well post the same thing - you always have good stuff to say, and better to put it in two places to inspire folks to discuss it!

I reaaaally want to get PSVR soon, they brought in VR headsets to work and it was amazing.

This sounds familiar ;-)

I’m copying myself, but my other comment was well after the discussion was over, so..

This week, I decided to give Stellaris a go again with a chum.

My friend got Skyrim VR as a Christmas present and hasn’t played it yet.

Salutations~
