Valve were the fucking gods of pc gaming. I remember my time on steam (early 2010's) really fondly and it was such an amazing platform to be on. Remember when they used to have crazy meta games attached to their holiday sales? Everything about what they do now just seems super lazy and money hungry. They arent making

They really have shit the bed in every conceivable way the last 5 years, from their lax to non-existent policies on game content, lack of moderation, rampant review bombing, lack of any first party games of note released (sorry, but 1500 max concurrent users in Artifact from a company that gave us Tf2 and DOTA 2 is a

It sucks that their IPs are stuck under the corpse of their game studio. At this point I wish they’d just auction them off to the highest bidder.

I think the present situation is a result of two interlocking forces that consistently produce this kind of rapid downward spiral in major corporations/famous individuals:

1.) Towering hubris from Valve. Half-Life 2 and the accolades it generated feel like a distant memory now, though I was well out of undergrad by the

It’s the way the company is run. No one has any incentive or need to do anything important or publicly available because all the employees get to pick what they work on. Based on the studio’s output since Portal 2-ish, I’d assume a lot of it doesn’t see the light of day or is something behind the scenes for Steam that

It’s amazing how fast Valve seem to have effectively collapsed as a real force outside of Steam itself, and even that seems under threat now from other platforms.

The issue is they DIDN’T do this with Black Armory, so a lot of people didn’t play it. I’m still sitting in the 570 range because I can’t devote days at a time to Destiny. The boost to 640+the new content gives me a reason to buy the annual pass without having to no-life the game for a week to catch up.

I mean, if it’s a good product, why not? No reason not to like the guy who owns the ice cream store.

“We’ll never be able to replace Reggie.”

1 little bug in the code

But fr, Apex’s ping system is a godsend.

Indeed, “generally uneven” would be more accurate

Want to love it. Don’t love it.

What’s with the “17" thing here? The age of consent in California is 18, but it’s lower (16 being the average, according to Wikipedia)  in pretty much every other state. So where was this shot? There are “Romeo and Juliet exceptions” so how old was Drake?

I got to the “action” or “more action” choice and turned it off instead of choosing. I like boring movies, okay? >_<

I enjoyed the experienced game creator’s (Colin?) acid-fueled monologue about Pac-Man, though.

Says way more about you than it does about the episode.

How’s that aluminum hat feeling on your head there, buddy?

lol. I should know better but a declarative headline mentioning chemistry made me think this article was fool-proof... Alas, bait, hook, line and sinker.

Yeah, here and there. I was a big fan too, and the guitar sounds and some of the production still sounds good. Great drumming too. A lot of the songwriting and lyrics just come across as hilariously pompous to me now though - and oh man, that voice! How did I ever enjoy that guy’s voice? It sounds like someone putting
