The crypto industry is confusing and changes constantly so you have to spend lots of time researching it, regularly, the more you want to participate. Orrr you could just convince yourself things are black-and-white and crypto is evil, and then you don’t have to feel lazy for ignoring a new technology.

May I ask for some reference points detailing the environmental impact of NFT’s and crypto in general? From what I understand, a Google search has the same carbon footprint as a crypto exchange... I see NFT’s blamed for or linked to environmental catastrophe a lot on Kotaku, and I’m curious where the journalists have…

I have no problem with someone like Castpixel refusing work on a NFT project. Again though, I will point out, that the environmental concerns are most likely exaggerated at this point. Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin, are power hogs and Bitcoin alone consumes 81 TWh but work is being done to lower the power consumption…
