I feel like this was written by a 54 year old Karen who drives a white Acadia Denali and is the head of an HoA. Biggest load of complete and utter bullshit nonsense bait-ass post I’ve read on this site in some time.

It’s a good test case to see if the public actually cares about cars getting re-designed every 6-10 years, like the traditional automakers have been conditioned to do. Tesla’s old cars still offer equal or better range, power, and charging capabilities than stuff coming out right now. A personal disdain for Musk and

I thought I was the only person who still had an appreciation for the STS-V

I am surprised at how prices on the 6 are holding. I would be a buyer at around 50k with reasonable miles but most are still around 70.

Happy to see this response. As the previous owner of an STS-V and the current owner of a CTS, There is only one next car for me. A CTS with at least 640 HP. Or wait. I would also be happy with a CT6 Blackwing.

This drama is unfounded—she has every right to upsell. She did the work of digging through all the crap—because you know that to find 10 good pieces she probably waded through 1000+ items. You are not just paying for the item, you are paying for the thrifter’s TIME and EYE for style. All these haters certainly don’t

The lighter you are under the limit allows the team to add ballast where they want to aid handling.

Yes it can be much heavier. A tube of cadmium red artist’s paint is noticeably heavier than a tube of bone black paint. At least with the expensive Winsor & Newton stuff. Cadmium, used for red and yellow is a heavy metal while several black pigments are basically ash or charcoal. Car paint probably uses synthetic azo

Whatever the reason, it looks sinister as FUCK and I love it.

If you run these things at, say, 60mph, you’ll easily get the 18mpg EPA rating. But once you go up in speed a bit, the fact that you’re punching a very large hole through the air makes itself known in a hurry.

I expected it to be larger. I need a vehicle large enough that an open pit mine dump truck driver can’t see around.

Yeah it’s like expecting someone who’s into fancy watches to be drooling over an Apple watch just because it has more functions.

No, the GX is the slightly wealthier cousin of the 4Runner.

The GX doesn’t feel like it adds much over the 4Runner. It isn’t as big of a step up to the GX from the 4Runner as is a RAV4 to an NX.

Also, the Highlander is great as a minivan alternative, and even more so with this new Grand Highlander. However, I’m not

Looks solid. Certainly a cool way to cruise around on a nice day and not an obscene amount of money for a well sorted “classic”.

Thank you for actual technical talk instead of Elon bad or Elon good.

Both springback and crumpling problems are the result of faster work hardening in stainless steel relative to carbon steel. The crumple zone thing is just a math problem. You can certainly account for decreased plastic energy dissipation in the structural design. But if boy wonder already had a product launch before

I watched a round up video of the Car and Driver 1 year/ 40k miles long term test of the C8.

not hooning the living daylights out of this vehicle should be a criminal offense

I want to send this so hard. I’ve never wanted to send anything more in my life, but this? My gosh. I would send it and then send it some more. It must be sent. The 911 Dakar is begging: “Send Me.” It belongs in low-earth orbit, competing with satellites for send height and duration. I’m glad they’ve though about

Yes. Be aware that the S90 was SWB only for its debut year, 2017. In 2018, our only S90 became the Chinese-built S90L, so 2018+ models have a much longer wheelbase (120.5" vs 115.8"). There doesn’t seem to be any quality difference between the 2017 and the 2018+, so I’d get the bigger one.
