Where a penalty needs to be levied on Max is what occurred once both cars came to rest. With his car at a 30 degree angle and rear wheels off the ground - knowing he drove over the top of Hamilton - he still tried to engage his drivetrain and power his wheels. He had no idea where his rear wheels were resting with

Always enjoy and appreciate your professional insight to help us all interpret these racing incidents from a racer’s perspective. Greatly appreciated, Robb.

This is the right stance. Mercedes and Bottas both knew he was never going to be given preference and win the hierarchy of team orders over Lewis. Bottas did an exceptional job following team orders, remaining competitive and getting along well with Lewis.

Would love to see a documentary on the last lap of the Brazilian GP to decide the ‘08 F1 World Driver Championship. Massa a corner away from immortality on his home course, Hamilton on the verge of clinching his 1st - great storylines all around.

This is fun early 00's time capsule, but I wonder what the driving factor of an SSR is to a potential buyer. Someone that just loves the SSR and wants one of the finest examples available? You’re still likely $6-8K over where most examples would be.

Completely agree. This is less Sesto Elemento, Veneno and Egoista and more OG LP-400. I think that is such a great call for the nameplate.

Thank you. I know “Boomer” has been co-opted to describe anyone pining for things that had relevance 30+ years ago, but the Countach was THE first dream car that made an indelible impression on older Millennials.

Always liked how conventional motor oil is referred to as “Dino Oil.”

Could not agree more on this. Many recent F1 fans forget this (those following in the last few years or so) but Massa’s loss has to have been one of the most gutting championship losses - across any sport - of all time.

Thank you!

Ha, I just replied to your other comment all indignant defending my ‘55 valuation and I just realized I proved your point - we really are the worst classic car guys. Now, if you excuse me, I am going to go sit in my cheap folding lawn chair next to my '55 with its hood up and talk shit about guys dressing up their

I am surprised that you listed Tri Fives as having their values drop. I have a '55 Bel-Air 2door I bought 10 years ago and the valuations seem to be holding strong. Even 4-doors appear to be commanding decent prices these days.

That must have been a blast with the 302.

To be fair, nothing wrong with a good cruising Mustang at that price point either, but I think the Cougar just looks cool as a dressed up stang.

As a classic car owner, I imagine this couple just wants to cruise and enjoy local shows, not spending all their time busting knuckles and passing each other wrenches during a restoration.

Damn, this is gorgeous. The split window glass lends itself well to an elongated roofline. The proportions and so well balanced.

Oooo, thank you for the heads up! I was hoping their were some modern options - especially hi fidelity options - can you update tracks/songs easily? When iTunes ended, my playlist was fossilized in 2019.

Beautiful doggos - the best of road trip partners. I love how the German Shepard looks like he he is laughing at his own joke that he told for the hundredth time and the cute lab? mix is like, “Dude, if I have to hear this same joke one more time...”

Destinations and waypoints may change, but the one constant for me on any long drive is my trusty 6th Gen iPod Classic plugged into the USB port of my car.

Great call. To me, farmers are the closest thing we have today to modern wizards. They can feel a millibar drop in their bones and sure enough, a storm is on its way.
