I have discovered this as well, I avoid them at all costs!

Ah freaky man. there's not a lot of process and reaction time there on track, I'm glad you had a safe runoff area in the turn you were on. I forget these front drive machines have gyroscopic forces acting on the front wheels. I can imagine the extra force needed in addition to the extra effort of no power steering. I

I'm in no way belittling anyone's loss here but I've been curious about the power to brakes and steering being cut from the ignition. Had none of these souls ever driven a vehicle with no power steering or assisted brakes? Or whomever had taught them to drive ever cut power or vacuum for them to feel what a car is

oh god, i forgot the 412 has K-jet fuel injection. what a nightmare.

when I saw all that blue and gold in the interior, all I could think of was the Persian south park episode.

i came here to say that too, the wiper off of an 80's era benz

the center dash looks like an old nokia phone. i almost had trouble taking it seriously.

i don't want to seem insensitive but as soon as i saw that it was a Lexus RX, it came as no surprise. i avoid these vehicles to nigh on OCD levels while on the road, this intuition has served me well as it's preempted several accidents caused by RX drivers.

this is one of those stupid instagram filters to make it look like there's some aperture depth of field trick isn't it?

What collision?

I think there's a big difference to removing the sound deadening versus gutting the car. You can always remove the sound deadening and put the carpet back. I do agree that completely gutting the interior would be awful for date potential.

I've had plenty of practice with my old car that can't warm up on it's own. To keep it from stalling I keep my foot slightly on the gas while my left foot operates the clutch and brake. Damn I need to fix this piece of shit lol.

Lols

Fuck. Yes.

Yeah, ive always understood those to be coilover macpherson style. Macpherson style just being a steering strut/shock combo and one lower arm. The early setups had separate springs and shocks/struts for their suspension geometry. The spring perch is more inboard on the LCA. the strut/shock connects to the steering

Example, bottom right. Black spring under compression after being removed with plate style spring tool.

That's a coil over type compressor. MacPherson strut springs have nothing in the middle. The plate style rod goes into a hole in the bottom of the control arm, then vertically through the center of the spring and the plates go in horizontally between spring coils as close to the ends as possible. It sounds like you

/innuendoing it right

Now playing

looks like he should've taken lessons from this guy.
