That last scene with Carlton actually made me really sad.
They look a bit alike. This is not a problem.
SEAN is gay. Cannot a gay man play a straight doctor? What's going on here?
Yeah, well "natural" doesn't actually mean anything. There are no controls on the use of that word. Also, a company's animal testing policy are commonly the purview of sensitive hippies. Of which I am not one.
So you're cool with BB even though they're owned by Clorox now?
I have been irritated by people sexualizing Bert and Ernie's relationship since my peer group was old enough to do it. These characters are like children, don't fucking ascribe sexual motivations to their relationship. It's the classic case of kids getting older and wanting to subvert the things they loved as children…
All the photos seem to have been zapped off the internet.
This just makes it clear to me that people my age are running Nickelodeon now.
Where are the straight male stars pretending to be gay for us ladies? There's the problem.
Curmudgeons unite?
Well...it was on youtube, and went viral. I saw it on Reddit and on Jezebel. The thread on Reddit was thousads of comments deep with things like "yeah she better say yes!". I don't know, though.
Nobody but me thinks it was creepy of him to do this? To ask a woman out in a public forum, being a serviceman, so that if she refused, millions of people would be saying "what a bitch, she must hate the troops" or whatever? No?
This season is turning my stomach. The whole panther rape storyline is so disturbing and gross and not in a good way. I'm disappointed but not surprised that Alan Ball is making light of it. It's a bad summer for men getting raped by women and it's a big joke (see Horrible bosses) (or don't)
what's the real point of holding up a SINGLE Queen Latifah movie against the entire genre that Seth Rogen represents? Fat dudes with hot wives or girlfriends or chicks-that-fall-in-love-with-them are shockingly prevalent in both movies and tv. The same cannot be said for fat chicks.
there are plenty of polyamorists that DO say that humans aren't meant to be monogamous. I think it is one of the party lines, even if it isn't something she said.
Well...Facebook wasn't invented by a woman? Or at least, the movie wasn't about his sister, or Sheryl Sandberg (who came in later) - it was really about the germination of the idea. Which involved dudes.
Eiffel Tower, shut up and make me a sandwich.
Um, Jezebel doesn't have the horrible new Gawker media format any more. Yay? I wish Io9 would switch back.
@janiejones56: I'm not a model nonjudgemental Jezebel commenter. I found the objectum sexuals to be somewhat off putting. I am bothered far more by the idolators, though. There is totally an aspect of necrophilia and subservience that they seem to crave and enjoy that just sets my teeth on edge.
