@stacyinbean: agree agree agree agree. Sorry, but I am excited to see someone else finds platform pumps as hoofy as I do. They need to get gone.

what's with the pink wrap and purse? Is it ok to wear pink and red together now? What did I miss?
Folds and ruffles like Riley Keough's, and HUGE pockets like Carey Mulligan's, annoy me for two reasons. One, I think they're ugly on their own, but two, I feel they smack of "LOOK, I can wear this hideous extra 6 yards of material and I still look thin"
@UnemployedModel: Well, I didn't know that was the theme, and Tina Fey's getup looks pretty 40s to me, but I still think it's ugly.
@Hortense: agreed, although I can't think of somebody who could wear it other than Lady Gaga without being accused of, well, trying to be like Gaga.
Um, as a geek, I find this kind of awesome, but as a person who likes to critique ugly dresses, I wish this one was less ugly.
@lalleepop: ha!
@AmosTrue: those pockets on Carey are ridiculous. The color is nice, though.
Ok, 1. January Jones' dress is not ugly. Her gloves are misguided. And her shoes are hideous, but I like gothic tracery, I guess.
@Misiula: I'm always skeptical when pet owners claim that their cat loves them.
@HidingInCanada: but...there is no evidence that the cat is being made happy by this marriage.
Will country radio still play her?
@Em N: are you 12?
I feel so conservative when I roll my eyes and wish shit like this didn't happen.
in elementary school, I would protest the ubiquity of the confederate flag and I would get the "heritage not hate" response. The irony being, of course, that the heritage IS hate.
@youngmanoldman: nope.
I'm 28 and I just had prom drama LAST NIGHT. The local drinking club held a prom to raise money for the local urban garden club, and my ex showed up with a skank. I was not best pleased.
My stepfather went to Harvard Law. He's a little racist.
@sinnicism: I think it's only just starting.
Yeah, it should include a drug to incapacitate the attacker long enough for the woman to get help or to safety. It's not a perfect system, and yes it could lead to violence, but if we can't prevent rape other ways, I like the idea of penis ruination for the attacker.
