That JFK shot has to be fake. That’s clearly a perspective shot of a snowbank in front of some jets. No way it’s covering what appear to be 777's.

Exactly. People always bitch about Reach’s armour abilities, but everyone ALWAYS had access to the SAME ONES. It was an even playing field that still allowed you to play to your strengths.

They won’t tell you this in the tourist guides, but ... Snu snu.

If Moffat does the occasional script here and there still, that’s good. That is what he did best. He also had some great individual arcs, but his season-wide (or even larger arcs) weren’t the best.

Likewise, it’s Chibnall’s skill as a show runner that get him the job. Broadchurch is amazing.

You mean apart from being one of the main characters in Broadchurch?

Hot Fuzz is much better, but a lot more subtle.

To which I reply “I’ve done my research. If you’re unwilling to offer the dealer purchase KBB price for my idea, I’ll sell it myself private party BEFORE purchasing the vehicle I was ready to purchase today, which means I’ll also be shopping around for it, likely at another local dealership of your brand.”

That’s a reasonable buyback solution, though I’m not sure KBB archives prices?

These people don’t understand a few things.

Really? I don’t like it. It doesn’t feel heroic to me.

The “March of the Resistance” is pretty meh, IMHO. It doesn’t feel heroic, it feels militaristic and a bit too much like the Imperial music in the original trilogy to be honest.

Can someone explain why they insist it has to land on a barge with no cushioning of any kind? Surely if it can land in a specific spot, and then fall onto some inflatable pillows, that would be satisfactory?

It’s happened guys. Schwimmer is finally aging.

I love that it’s clearly set in the early ‘90s without it being forced down our throats with terrible fashion, just hints here and there. The fashions are there, but the modern colour palette makes it not as jarring as, say, watching an episode of Seinfeld.

Exactly. They just. Won’t. Stay.

First off, chill out a second. We’re talking about fucking pastries here. This is not life and death. How about you walk back insulting my mother’s cooking? (As well as my grandmother, who also tried the last time she visited, and failed as well)

As someone whose mother did it every WEEK in the UK, and repeating those steps fails to reproduce things properly in the US, the problem is clearly a difference in ingredients. We’ve tried literally everything (we’ve been here since 1991).

Yep. We’ve taken to adding maple syrup to them and having them like a dessert-type item.

Yorkshire puddings are incredibly difficult to create in the US for some reason. They NEVER rise like they’re supposed to, even with mix from the UK to try and remove as many variables as possible. I think it’s the milk.
