They don’t want to do this when the Raid is still new (Challenge Mode was released in January), they want people to experience it as a community and discover strategies on their own, rather than just watching the devs do it.

What are you even talking about? Battlefield and CoD have been doing this for years.
“Stand riiiiiiight here.”
I heard it actually deletes itself from your hard drive upon death.
Because facts are important.
If Doom was cancelled in 2011 (it wasn’t) then what the hell else do you think id was doing? RAGE had shipped. id didn’t do its massive layoff (http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/1290…) until January of 2012, all of which, according to reports, were totally unexpected and sudden to everyone except upper management.
Close! 9 years versus 15 years!

They’re basically saying “Are you fucking serious?”
They want it to be a derogatory term, but many own it.
I drive in Dallas regularly and this makes our drivers look like fucking saints.
You realize 90% of Americans don’t drive more than 20 miles in one stint, right? The range anxiety problem always has been and always will be bullshit for 99% of drivers.
Fair point. Conversely, I know a lot of folks who purchases Infinity and Amiibo figures just purely for display purposes.
FFXIV’s raids are designed entirely differently to Destiny’s. They require a team to do stuff together, but not necessarily talk about it while they’re doing it. Destiny’s raids REQUIRE you to talk to your team mates unless you’ve done it as a full group multiple times before.
Why does the entertainment industry keep giving this woman a chance?
Blizzard has never made an FPS before so it’s not surprising they’re not great at positioning this type of thing. There’s definitely weird net code in Overwatch sometimes. The window for counters is HUGE. I definitely enjoyed it though. Just things you have to get used to.
Korean guy good at a Blizzard game? SHOCKING.
I still can’t fathom why Disney pulled the plug on this. They were CLOBBERING the other toys-as-games in the market other than maybe Amibo, but even so...
