And a hideous one at that
The Cybertruck is basically the coupe SUV ie. BMW X6 of pickup trucks. You didn’t buy it for space, utility, off roading, towing, work, ergonomics etc. It is purely a styling exercise.
The entire debate about the Batteries has lead to an interesting question about history.
Couldn’t spy satellites read license-plate-sized text from space back in the 1990s? Seen a single vehicle, let alone a whole parking lot should be no problem at all! :)
In addition Hertz is trying to unload 30,000 Teslas. They became a maintenance nightmare and renters didn’t want to deal with recharging them.
Show me on the Toyota SUV where Trump touched you.
Well, look at it this way: Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group owns a large percentage of Toyota. In turn, Toyota owns something like 16% of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance. So... you can see how that could be problematic, especially considering Mitsui Sumitomo is Toyota’s main global insurance carrier...
Toyota: now the Boeing of car manufacturing.
Still not as good as Wankpanzer, IMHO.
That to me is the way funnier part of this story. Is this man ordering a Cybertruck the direct cause of him separating from his wife? Probably not!
...laughable journalistic standards in place these days at Jalopnik.
Love the “incEl Camino”!
Exactly. the article states the cybertruck is ‘nearly 8 ft wide’, but that is for the mirrors. The Cyber truck is 80" wide (as in 6 2/3 ft wide) , 95" with mirrors.
The dumbest thing in all of this is the guy was forced to downsize his life to live in a crappy apartment with crappy parking, and still decided to go through with buying a $100k+ truck.
LOL! You think Tesla would allow that??
I wonder if his pending purchase of the CyberTruck had anything to do with his marital separation?
For fuck’s sake, proofread your headline.
You’ve got to stop letting AI write your headlines
How can anyone justify this treatment? How can people continue to make excuses for such an objectively flawed and compromised vehicle?
