Maybe I just don’t understand how unions rules work in this case or something, but what law was being broken here? Were they supposed to have let the union leaders tell everyone that they were fired rather than doing it directly, or something?

That’s honestly a huge fuckup on Sega’s part. Probably stems from a lack of experience dealing with unions in that industry, but going directly to members about layoffs instead of the unions is super Yikes level violation.

All jobs will inevitably be outsourced until it is straight up illegal to do so.

Your assertion that Young Sheldon is a sitcom is intriguing, because I’m only familiar with sitcoms that are, or attempt to be, funny.

I want to know why young Sheldon is so much more socially functional than adult Sheldon. That’s like the opposite of how functioning autism works. Like, the child version of the adult we saw in Big Bang theory should spend most of his time staring motionlessly at his action figures and screaming for an hour every time

As someone remarked, it’s like burning down a building for the insurance money.

Just when I was about to watch a single second of it.

Oh, you're fucked now, Zaslav. The giant anvil lobby has deep pockets.

Got news for you... just about every vehicle that cost 6 figures when new will easily lose $40,000 in depreciation in the first year or two.

If you bought any car between 2021 and 2022, you lost shitton of money as is. The time when the markup was insane since everyone suddenly needed a car, a lot of values plummeted.

And yet there are so many gullible goobers out there looking for every excuse to shove money at him...

Hearing Elon claim that his cars are “appreciating assets” further solidifies his standing as a self absorbed, narcissistic A-hole. His ability to make idiotic statements and pass them off as the intelligent insight of a genius is unparalleled in the automotive arena.

I despise Elon Musk and all he touches, but this isn’t really a ding against Tesla, IMO. So long as you are extracting value from what you have purchased, depreciation is a purely academic concern. If you pay price X for a car, and own it for years Y, is the value of X divided by Y an acceptable rate to pay for having

Ok, so....In order to artificially keep the prices of cars (and used cars) up, this is exactly why traditional manufacturers never lower the MSRP of their cars. They heap incentives like low interest rates and cash back instead.

And the Wii itself was backwards compatible with Gamecube games.

These kinds of articles bug me. Like are we trying to catch Nintendo in some lie? What’s the purpose here? They clearly want to control when/how their console gets announced and will probably deny everything until they are good and ready.

Well, yeah. Nintendo’s going to deny a Switch 2 until they’ve announced it, because otherwise they’ll have... unofficially announced the Switch 2.

It’s intentional, they build in trick sets.

I play this most days. I got two wrong today before I figured it out. The difficulty also feels wildly different day-to-day. Somedays it’s so easy, and other days I can’t even figure out the easiest category.

I dunno where I knew “fie” (maybe reading Harvey Comics as a kid?) from, but that wasn’t one of the stumbling

Once you “wire” your brain for how the game operates, it gets pretty easy. I was a big ol dumb dumb the first few times I tried; now I nearly always get it with no mistakes. Usually they will have words in there that look like they obviously go together but it’s a trap 9/10 times. You just have to look at all the
