The breaking of a quarantine and distancing, asshole.
Detroit’s auto show is about four times the number of CES attendees.
The place we all look for “news” and “help”: Jalopnik.
Toronto is barely a blip on the international draw, and Canada has been very, very lucky to not have size of outbreak or the shit-for-brains running the nation we do.
Bzzzzzz: That’s the former owner, not a family member.
Yes, Mazda has a long, long history of rust problems here in the States too. Less so now, I assume, but they screwed a huge number with that in the past. In my experience (Mazda’s HQ in the US) it’s clear that their “independent” status and constant struggles are the reason for shadiness.
“Hi, where is the conspiracy?”
Many of those nice cars had problems but were denied warranty coverage. It’s a uniquely Mazda business practice to cut costs, in my experience. It’s why they have poor repeat purchase, high marketing cost-per-sale, and consistently low DQR ratings. I could share more but suffice it to say it’s a company with very…
This is demonstrably untrue; When your target is spending premium money and wants/is accustomed to basic features, you accommodate or they shop elsewhere (as keeps happening). It’s just poor planning.

WTF is Triumph doing breaking quarantine for press junkets?! FFS...
Can’t tell you how it all netted out — I moved on ~2007, after we launched the next-gen Civic (also problematic) and Ridgeline. Being on the marketing side, I got a somewhat up-close view of the problems. Basically, when we were tasked with the first Civic Hybrid launch, we surmised it wasn’t near as good as Prius…
Die-hard simmerer, here: I cook everything as normal (pre-al dente), then gently simmer the sauce/pasta combo for 20-or-so minutes. Sometimes I’ll even let it cool, then re-simmer before serving.
