Sally J is my absolute favorite of JB’s books! And I read them all. It helped that mom was older and I watched Esther Williams movies from a young age. I related with Sally so much  and I was a Catholic girl from the 1980s.

Oh, it happens. My twin niece and nephew often tried to nurse on my (unrelated) well endowed aunt. She laughed it off and told several stories like that from Italy. (She is a bountiful woman who could breastfeed the world while she was nursing. Maybe they sensed it, lol.)
