I don’t know. If you eliminate all the ratfucking twatwaffles the entire GOP would be like, 6 1/2 people.

I think family planning is an important issue here, too.
I’ve got friends in the USMC stationed in the Bay Area that literally could not get by without WIC, and I know for a fact that they utilized PX and wee pretty thrifty. I also know it isn’t uncommon. For what it’s worth, they had three kids and the Bay Area is one of the most expensive places to live in the country.
This makes sense. Thanks for breaking it down.
Fair enough.
Oh god, I forgot about that. There’s so much awful it’s hard to keep up.
Fun fact! MANY enlisted military families are dependent on social programs like WIC, which the right is always trying to defund/destroy. It’s a pattern- they don’t want to pay them enough where they don’t need these types of programs, and they also don’t want to fund the programs. So military families are supposed to…
I....don’t know what that means. :)
Thanks! I guess I was surprised she didn’t just get a loan, but clearly it’s more complicated than that.
You know she thought she was getting chief of staff. And objectively, she deserved it. Instead she’s offered press secretary (which, given she was the one who literally saved his campaign, was insulting). She turns that down, so she gets the vague “counselor” title and an office up a staircase POTUS hates (or is…
Banks wouldn’t give her credit (which seems somewhat surprising given creditable counterparties were making purchase orders to buy large quantities of dresses.
Wait. People like me are the reason so many businesses fail? I haven’t started a business. I have no plans to start a business. Mostly beacause I know I don’t have the temperament or expertise to do so. I’m open to being educated (hence my proclamation of ignorance), but all you’ve done here is lash out with hostility…
Yeah, I didn’t go to business school or anything but this sounds off.
I can’t help but wonder if she (or one of her people) is the anonymous source for this. Maybe her way of telling the country that she isn’t all bad.
Sock puppets
You get it
Well, like I just replied to Ella (am in the grays), these types of promotions don’t bring about the same net gains as traditional fundraising. The appearance of doing good could dissuade folks from just writing a check to a charity which wouldn’t spend as much of a percentage on advertising, etc.
That is all i’ve heard. Also (as with the Komen pink breast cancer promotions) these types of “a percentage of your purchase goes to _____” campaigns are stingy and costly to promote. Meaning traditional fundraising is far more efficient and successful when you look at net gains.
... but does it matter if it’s doing good?
They’d support a septic tank as POTUS as long as it signed their legislation.
