I don’t think they’re devaluing players in general, they’re devaluing the position.  WR’s are getting the contracts that RB’s used to get.

I’m all for players getting whatever they can, the NFL has just seemed to collectively change their value they place on RB’s. Whether it’s the rate of injury, shifting of offensive schemes or what, RB’s haven’t been prioritized this decade. WR’s are now getting the contracts that used to go to the position.
