All the way back to Drop Dead Gorgeous - Amy Adams is great!

Magnolia!
oh! I loved the Before Trilogy! I’m just a couple years younger than the characters in that, and have been at similar places in my life so those all felt very real to me :) I agree- I had the same thought that I would like a third Fleabag series in about 5 years.
would read your fanfic! I’ve also heard a similar but alternate suggestion which has THP in therapy with Fiona Shaw and I was basically screaming “Take my money” as I read that one!
But if we are talking about Gillibrand and a lack of differentiation compared to marginal males, the only other dudes I can think of who have gotten extra coverage are Beto and Mayor Pete - and they are regionally and demographically very interesting (compared to Gillibrand). That is exactly what they offer and why…
Obviously Lea Michele
Don’t know if it is kosher to post links from other publications - but I found this summary regarding impeachment and 2020 to be interesting (take heart!) https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/28/politics/allan-lichtman-donald-trump-2020/index.html
I think that thinking positively about sick time is more common than it should be - I ended up in the hospital for 5 days about two weeks after my youngest was born. I didn’t have maternity leave so had already gone back to work (creating the complications that led to my hospitalization) - I had five days in a…
^this! I’ve been wondering for a couple of years if I was burned out but about two months ago reached a point where I can no longer even focus at my job unless it is an emergency. I understand that I am actually burned out now - It is absolutely awful. I took a day off in April and I only felt better for that day.…
Huel is meh. I always keep a bag around for those days when I don’t have time to leave my desk. But of all the meal supplements it seems the most balanced, is gluten free, and is vegan. It tastes exactly like you think those things taste :) I add a banana and some spinach and blend it up in a vitamix.
But Nicole clearly doesn’t want to be in that group. I’m not 100% on board with the early retirement thing , but I do think you can pay now or later. If you know you don’t want to work when you are 50, you might live like Nicole. If you are cool with working when you are 70 then don’t worry about it. My husband and I…
Also a transplanted Hoosier and some of my favorite memories took place in Steak N Shakes growing up (including the raucous post rehearsal postparty 3am gathering the night before my wedding :). If they brought back the lime freeze I would make a frickin’ drive to the nearest one that is two hours from me.
Agree! I will always be a Hathaway apologist on Jezebel. She is a theater nerd and earnest as hell and how lovely that she seems to know herself and be just fine with it.
So I work in VFX and hair is the hardest thing to sculpt and takes FOREVER. A full hairy animal is a nightmare. You can’t even capture it with lasers or photogrammetry correctly (yet). Dragons are easier.
No Worries! I love talking about this stuff! When I say midlevel - DH and I combined bring in just over 100k household so we’re higher than median for sure but due to a crazy tax situation (I’m a remote worker) and DH carrying most of our benefits our take home is lower than might be expected. We have two kids in…
Not meaning to slam Lugar - I think Lugar was great! I cried when he got primaried because it was so short sighted and awful. I’m a Dem too from a super Union dem family and everyone voted for Lugar. And my republican family on my other side voted for Bayh. I’m generally meh on Indiana anymore, but one thing I’ve…
^^ I don’t think he ever thought he’d have a real shot at the presidency. But Hoosiers love a middle of the road, sensible sounding person (it is why dems would vote for Luger and repubs would vote for Bayh over and over). He’s a great fit to be a governor or senator for Indiana.
Austenland was a frickin’ delight! It is my rewatch movie when I need to be cheered up. I am also married to a history professor :)
There are lots of us that hate working in the FIRE community (financial independence, retire early). My DH and I have mid level (not six figure) jobs and are working towards early retirement to spend time with our kids. It might not be a great fit for you, but I encourage you to check it out, just in case. *caveat -…
What a great way of putting it!
