I live at 9200ft and drive between 9000-12000 regularly and my 2001 sienna doesn't really loose that much power, but my dad's 2009 Mazda bt50 (aka ford ranger 2009) turbo diesel really looses any horse power and going uphill is painfully slow. 15.700 ft is the higher I've driven and while the car was fine I was dying.
where's the trasnporter in his flying audi? This list is wrong.
I don't know those guys, butI've never been in a simulator of any kind so how would I know the difference or if there's any difference at all... I'd just be there saying "wow, this feels real"
We didn't get it on Ecuador. and looks like I'm the only one reading jalopnik here...
I think you're right, the old dmax got replaced and completely redesign in 2002, then updated with a 2012 second gen. This would be the 2012 update, same engines but completely new frame.
Yup, that and those crazy police car chases, and kids shooting in schools, and health care prices, those guys are crazy.
I'm pretty sure this kind of shit doesn't happens anywhere else.
2011 wouldn't be that bad, The D-Max it's been on sale since 2002 as an Isuzu, Chevrolet or Holden depending on the country.
Yup, chevy sells those as chevrolet or holden or gmc depeding on the country, so you don't see the Isuzu name that much. This d-max is also known as: Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet D-Max, Chevrolet LUV D-Max, Holden Colorado
Holden Rodeo, Isuzu KB, Isuzu LB, Isuzu Rodeo, Chevrolet T Series, GMC Canyon
I don't get why all the hate, is his car, if is giving him more problems than pleasure smashing it seems like a good idea. Doing it twice seems like twice the fun!.
Sounds like fisrt world problems to me, in some countries almost every car is a manual, Here in Ecuador not only almost every car is a manual, lots of people don't like automatic because they think they are complicated and not as simple to repair.
I hate this guy, he sings about poor people and injustice and the problems in southamerica and then goes and buys a maserati.
I don't get it, I really don't, dotted lines and full lines in different places are telling me something, they must mean something, but what...
Damn, I'm in the gawker side of jalopnik again..
Wow, I had no idea...
now that i know what it is, is actually really good...
Funny you mention china, I've driven chinese cars (they are a hit in south america right now) and the first thing I notice was the lack of sound deadening, wich for me is what should win this QOTD. I can live with cheap plastic, but the noise, I just hate it.
I drove a CheryQQ, wich is the chinese copy (exact copy!)…
YES!! THIS!! I don't care about blank buttons or lack of bluetooth or steel wheels, those are first world problems, we don't get top of the line cars here, only a few can buy luxury things as a camry or a honda odyssey. I don't need cruise control and my car doesn't even has power steering, but this, the lack of sound…
Depends on the car, looks great in a land rover defender, for the money those things cost should be inaceptable, but looks awesome.
