I see nothing wrong here, that's a crappy job, if he found something amusing about it good for him. I agree maybe is not the right atitude, but he's still getting the job done. 

The thing is, even with good design, those things are poorly made. My sister has a Chery QQ, runs ok, it has been very reliable so far, but if you pull the door handle too hard, it will brake. The same goes for the windows levers and even the gear stick. The plastics are thin and weak
