Showing reasonable conflict, romance or concern in those relationships does though, surely? The interest is implied. It doesn’t need to be shown constantly.
Your original point - that it’s unlikely he’ll show attraction to the same sex unless it’s a punchline - has been refuted, correctly. There are male same sex couples. The level of interest is then where you take your argument. That’s fine, I agree they could be doing a better representation. But already having male…
You wrote that after I had started to reply to what you put earlier. Hence the ‘moving the goalposts’ comment. I don’t agree with what you wrote before, but I somewhat agree with this statement. They’re different views.
Obviously not. But when you keep moving the goalposts, it’s hard to keep up.
Except they have Curtis Holt and his husband. They even had Barry’s Boss at Central City have a same sex relationship. Neither were jokes, both treated as regular couples. I don’t see how there would be any reason to suggest otherwise.
As others who have been watching in the UK have said, I can attest to its Phillip K Dick-ness... Of the three that have been on so far, they have reallly taken the source material to heart. The fact that they aren’t all neatly closed off stories make them wonderfully unique, too. I’m thoroughly enjoying them so far.…

I did not realise I wanted it. But now I can’t not want it.
From Digital Spy:
I’m like Roel Rein. I love goung rouge... It makes my eyes pop.
About a what, James Whitbrook and Gordon Jackso? About a what?
So... You are comparing a character who’s skin colour might have contributed to her name (but could equally have come from ‘the domino effect’,, ie: her powers...), to a hero who comes from an island of only women, and that fact is intrinsic to their character? Or to a hero who is the King of an African nation?
Oh, that would be so good!
They have referred to quite a few things that were in the books. They even had a reference in the clip above. But it’s a continuation, so harking back to them all the time would be silly and take us out of context. The show stands alone enough to not need the viewers to have read them, if that’s what you mean. But…
