Literally just started listening to this band last night, they’re one of those bands I’ve known about forever, but for some reason never gave a listen.

Every now and again I like having debates with friends with the subject pertaining to “bands that should be/ should’ve been more popular.” Phantom Planet is one of those bands to me, and fun fact Jason Schwartzman (yes the actor) kills it on drums in this band.

So I live in Portland Oregon, and last November after the election we had a few nights of protest( or riots depending on who you ask) one of those nights after getting tear gassed this song played on my Ipod and I found it fitting.

Well maybe...can you prove Oprah never killed anyone?

Laura Marling remains the most talented singer-songwriter of her generation. I’ve been a fan of hers since her days in the band Noah and The Whale, it’s been amazing watching her grow as an artist.

“...And having to deal with Lance Stephenson all over again.” I don’t know why, but that made me laugh so hard.

I understand that angle as well, and to be honest even as I was thinking to myself “man I don’t want to see him in his moment of grief, this feels scummy” I didn’t turn the channel or turn away. Human emotions are such a weird thing.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who took Barkley’s comments a different way than most people did. I thought he meant that having the cameras focused on him was a bad look, and that it was a bad look for TNT/Turner to capitalize on his grief.

I imagine inside Beverley’s head is like a Looney Tunes bit “did anyone get the number of that truck?”

I’m in love with Kendrick Lamar’s new album, but I think Joey’s is better by just a hair. I relate more personally to what Joey says in Amerikkkan Badass than I do what Kendrick is saying in Damn. Nonetheless both will probably be two of the best rap albums this year.

Just got introduced to this by a friend last night, I really like him.

He looks like he just witnessed someone travel through times, he looks like he literally just watched somone step through the fabric of time in a full suit of armor.

This is why I don’t like American football, it’s nothing but an over-serious bore of a sport.

Chaos reigns.

Mr.Evans plays the most beautiful song in music history.

I know this is a joke, but just imagine the mental breakdown coach Pop would give college students.

I would love to see this happen, only because Barkley would give him shit for it for the rest of their careers at TNT.

I see this gif all the time, what show is it from?

Stop, drop, 3:30 fire alarm open up shop, oh, no, that’s how the crimsontide rolls.

I’d like to apologize to my neighbors for shouting out “ooooooooooooohhhhh” after he made that three.
