I’m sure he won’t actually end up in jail in a holding cell, but was the arrest necessary? Sure eject him, kick him out of the arena, ban him for X number a games, but arrest seems to be an overstep. It did not seem that physical, seemed like school yard stuff.

A semi-thesis of mine is, the violecne of the NFL appeals more to people with a conservative lean. I’ve never done the research to back that up, it’s just me stabbing in the dark.

No, I live in Oregon, I just was raised watching European soccer leagues more than any sports league in the U.S. To me, college sports (particularly football and basketball) feel the most European, it’s the same sort of deep local ties, and true history to their city.

I guess that’s why I like college sports more than pro sports in the country. In college, it’s truely about loyalty to the community and your 100 plus years of history.

That’s the one thing I don’t undersand about American sports, why do so many sports clubs more around so often.

Am I the only one to loved his speech? I know it was’nt the most eliquant, but it was such a joy to watch, and so authentic. If I won an award on national tv, I’m sure I’d be the same way, any speech that starts with “Oh snap” is going to be amazing. Imaine the Gettysburg Address starting with “Oh snap”.
