There hasn’t been a new car that is “dangerously slow” since the 70s.
Villenuve, Zanardi and Montoya are easily my top 3 favorite 500 drivers, each has done something special at the brickyard and for better or worse used Indy as a stepping stone to F1. I can’t wait to see JPM back for another shot. Might have to find tickets...
According to a Youtuber, Team Penske was possibly planning a fifth car along their four full-time entries. If that were the case, I would have thought JPM would be driving that car.
JPM still held a number of track lap time records (from 2005) in F1 until the last year or so.
JPM is awesome -- glad to see him get a good drive!
Please don’t say things whithout verifing : according to the California Energy Commission, in 2018 California produced 68% of it’s needs in electricity. And amount thoose 68% only 32% is renewable energy.

A rookie (for Pikes Peak in the Tesla) running a similary spec’d machine crashed out too- that totally refutes your point.
Right. Because race car drivers never crash.
The current platform rides on a design from the Daimler Chrysler era that also underpinned the outgoing M-Class. The idea that it’s an old AMC platform is nonsense unless you’re willing to say all platforms are continuations from prior platforms because they use knowledge gained from said prior platforms.
Piffle. My daughter had a classmate in highschool who rolled her Smart ForTwo on a windy bit of suburaban street. You can roll damn-near anything if you’re trying or an inexperienced driver.
I get it Bradley, I do. But, Pirelli is holding fast to its mandate and the teams, knowing this, choose how far to push. The quality is right where Liberty wants it to be, and the teams know this too. Merc could have pitted both cars and still won by a comfy margin. They chose not to.
I love cars and I enjoy driving, but sitting in traffic taking 40 minutes to get home from work isn’t driving.
The hot ones are always f*cking crazy, but that doesn’t stop you, does it?
Fortunately for us, this car is too old to be subjected to Cars & Bids
He saw cities getting destroyed across the country during BLM protests. The reality is indeed that most, not all, but most damage was done by people who just wanted to break things and not actually protest. So when you see these cities burning down, does that not look like an act of terrorism? Not everyone understands…
