The WWI comparison is hilarious. The U.S. essentially fought in the last 6 months or so of the war. The Soviet Union lost over 20 million citizens in WW2.
I don’t see why the virus would affect people wanting to have kids or not. Vaccine or not, it will probably burn out within a year or so.
We are too far gone now, in my opinion. We just need to accept that most people will get the beer virus, 500,000-1,000,000 will die, and that will be that.

Only a very small percentage get seriously ill or die from it. Probably it is like chickenpox or Yellow Fever used to be, better to get it as a child and then you are immune.
Everything you could possibly need to learn is on either Wikipedia, YouTube, or the “Great Courses” audiobooks anyway. School is obsolete.
