It’s interesting in the medical field doctors are really restricted from taking gifts from companies now due to conflicts of interests. Funny how politics are immune from that.

Remind me again why we need political campaigns, and shit-tons of money from big companies to fund them?  Does anyone else here get more money than their salary or whatever for doing their jobs?  

Of course BigPharma is not acting ethically, but that’s just American capitalism at work. The first question should be, “who watches the watchmen?” Some of these elected officials are taking in several salaries in bribes. It’s no wonder they’re not worried about drug prices.
