Oh, my sister had this Spagghetti Nero (with squid ink not octopus) in Italy. It is pretty revolting to watch someone's teeth and lips turn black when they eat! She said it was delicious though.

Oh, so much of this is just cultural. Where I'm from, fruit bat and sea turtle are (very much illegal now) delicacies. But at least these dishes are prepared with care. The worst foods are made without love :(

I don't really see the difference between this and eating any sort of animal. But according to some members of my family it's actually delicious! I think the prerequisite is that you have to begin eating it as a kid...
