the thing is though...she isn't a naturally skinny person. There are people who are 105 lbs, 5' 4" and healthy. It's very, very hard for those people to get to over 200 lbs, which really makes me think this is not a healthy weight for her.

I think this is good. It's not the physical lack of cigarettes in one store that will get people to stop, but a widespread shift in attitude.

Awl, come on. Better than I could do, better than a lot of people could do.

I'm guess that this is the effect of being short in comparison to everyone around you. So, if everyone around you is just as short, you feel okay.

I've definitely been to the markets! I lived in London until recently, and went to a design school (I didn't study fashion there, just observed a lot of it).

I was thinking the same thing about London.

I would have been really into that look when I was 13.

It's a great marketing model. I visited their Twitter, it was basically food porn. Okonomiyaki...!!

I come from a place with a lot of stray dogs. They really don't bother anyone. In fact my own dog was a stray and all of my family's dogs were strays or adopted.

I'm in Florida, it's perfectly sunny and 70-some degrees. I'm moving to NY this weekend.

Haha- yes! But I will certainly give the show another chance now.

This.

I never watched New Girl beyond the pilot episode because I found it annoying and unfunny. Prince is magic.

Prince is going to be on TV, guys.

Inflicted? Really, how dare you assume to know anything about how my mom loved me.

My mom was bulimic and I've had eating disorders for years, too. But I still love her, and my siblings turned out fine, and I don't believe that is even close to a good reason to deprive a person of having children. No way.

No. It's absolutely no one's business but her own whether or not she has children. No parent is perfect, no child is raised without difficulty. To want to deprive someone of having a child just because they have body image issues is just cruel.

I don't think it's shaming her decision, I think the article is shaming society (people like her father) for placing so much importance on appearance.

But now it's the super wealthy who aren't fat- because they have time to obsess about what they eat, exercise and pay people to keep them thin.

I can't believe you went there.
