Bowen Yang is so so good. He’s so effortless in making his characters pop, it’s like he was born for sketch comedy.

For me, this episode was delightful as they just decided to completely weird and leaned hard in to that aspect. I also felt it really suited Chance as a host as his somewhat awkward style, and I mean that in the best way possible, really worked well with the sketches they chose.

I don’t think Edgar was being a dick at all. He wasn’t trying to break the couple up; he was trying to stop Jimmy from letting Gretchen, in the midst of a pill addiction and a mental breakdown, throw herself into a marriage before getting help first.
